Last few days have seen a historic update of the popular keyword analysis tool from Google. This move comes as a followup to Google's introduction of the much debated opt-out personalized search, to introduce the metric of Clickthrough versus Impresions, rather than the average place in SERP's. Much debated in the last few days on the web, we see this as the natural evolution. Still in the testing area we fear tough, as we detected a lot of discrepancies between the data provided by Webmaster Tool and Google Analytics for the same phrases. Most likely the following days will see a correction of this data. The true news is the insertion of the clickthrough concept as a big metric, one that we feel will start influencing rankings pretty soon. A thing to think about...
